Mr. Richard started his career at Xerox Canada after studying translation at Laurentian University in Sudbury. His successful sales track record led him to join Xerox Learning Systems (which later became Achieve Global). In 1991 he founded Performance Organizational Development and Training which is now Effica Group. Mr. Richard studied andragogy; the science of adult learning at St-Francis Xavier University.
The combination of his sales experience, academic training as a translator and formal training in andragogy ensures that all Effica Group’s training programs are rigorously designed, meticulously customized and systematically devised to produce a return on your training investment.

His experience in various executive positions at Xerox Canada and Canada Post have contributed in developing his solid expertise in attaining tangible sales results. Using his entrepreneurial talents, Mr. Carrier has developed a vast knowledge about all aspects of commercial sales, and is known for his outstanding skills in the fields of marketing, retail sales, human resources and operations.
As Vice-President of Business Development for the Effica Group, Pierre specializes in research and business development as well as in all aspects dealing with customer relations and effective sales operations and management. The whole culture surrounding sales, sales management and practices, as well as sales techniques, are only a few of the areas of expertise which Pierre can offer to share with his clients.
Pierre obtained a Bachelor's degree in Administration from Laval University and is registered with the Strategic Account Management Association or SAMA.
Marie is a seasoned manager with a solid track record in sales and general management. After earning her Bachelor’s degree at McGill she started her career at Proctor & Gamble. She has more than 25 years of achievements in business development, sales and negotiation in consumer packaged goods, food and pharmaceuticals.
She is passionate about skills development and she is recognized as a mobilizing leader and communicator. She has completed her formal training as a professional coach and is a member of ICF (International Coaching Federation).
Holding a bachelor’s degree in film and communications from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Anouk specializes in editing. Besides working as an assistant editor for a few television programs and initiating a few corporate projects, Anouk has been the editor of short and full-length fiction films and documentaries. Furthermore, she has attended a few advanced courses and workshops for preparing and organizing the postproduction of film or video projects.
Methodical and attentive, Anouk, who has also been a musician since childhood, is renowned for her professionalism and accuracy.
Mikaël holds a bachelor’s degree in film and communications from the University of Quebec in Montreal. He devotes himself to directing fiction films and writing screenplays for them, as well as developing corporate videos. He has directed a few internationally recognized short films, as well as several music videos, training videos and information capsules, both for artists and for companies.
Versatile and creative, having held a variety of positions in various projects ranging from camera to editing, Mikaël knows how to make the necessary connections to ensure cohesion between the different stages of a video project. Due to his interest in the camera and technology, he is aware of technological advances and quickly adapts to them.
